Safety on the campus
Jamhuriya University is committed to ensuring the safety of the environment and administering training and procedures that prevent personal injuries and maintaining regulatory compliance in the areas of biological, chemical, occupational, and radiation safety.
The university has a policy that states no student is permitted to work alone in Faculty's various Laboratories. This policy was created to reduce the risk of severe harm when working alone with materials, tools, or in environments that pose a serious risk to one's health or immediate survival. The Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology's undergraduate and postgraduate students who are involved in academic or research-related activities are covered by this regulation. All safety protocols must be followed, personal protective equipment must be worn, and training standards must be kept up to date. These responsibilities fall directly on the shoulders of the students.
Ethics and Conduct
The faculty's Code of Conduct is applicable to all types of student behavior that takes place on the university’s property, including events sponsored by the University, gatherings hosted by other recognized student organizations, and any off-campus behavior that has or might have serious repercussions or a negative effect on the Institute's interests or reputation. A committee will be established to propose appropriate disciplinary action if there is a case against a student for a potential code of conduct violation. This committee will investigate the claimed violation and recommend the appropriate course of action to be taken against the student. Depending on the type of misbehavior, the committee may confer with the student to determine it and recommend one or more of the following corrective measures.
The faculty values academic integrity and is dedicated to nurturing an intellectual and ethical environment founded on the ideals of academic integrity. Honesty, accountability, and knowledge of ethical norms for the conduct of study and scholarship are all parts of academic integrity. The faculty is of the opinion that all scholarly writing should give due credit to the ideas and efforts of others. Academic ethics breaches are a severe offense because it is crucial to the Institute's success and the accomplishment of its research objectives. Violations include Plagiarism which is defined as the use of ideas, concepts, facts, code, or data without giving due credit to the original author. This might entail submitting content that was written by someone else or that you had previously published, directly or condensed.
